We normally don't take that many pictures but there were a few times that my wife wished she had one and when I needed one for work, it was time to start looking. My cousin has the ELPH 1200 10 MP and I noticed it took great pictures. After reading reviews and checking out consumer reports we went with the Canon 780 12 MP. At first my wife thought it was too small when she took it out of the box. However, after charging the battery and using it, she can't put it down.
