Check out the screen capture above for proof. The 5D, XT, and XTi are removed from CanonÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s website. Then a few minutes later, there back up, and then down again. something is happening over there.

My father lives in a small adult home (200 or less residents) here in spokane, Washington, USA. today when I went in to see hime, they were filming a movie in the facility. I don’t mean a small Indy movie either, a big production company with two huge trucks loaded with gear, 50 technicians, actors, the whole thing.

It was really interesting to see what a small part the actual camera plays in the overall production scheme, and, of course, the 5D MKII wouldn’t seriously be considered for use in this environment in any event.

However, I also wonder why the facility would let a production company virtually take over in the dining room, lobby, and even some of the hallways like this. Residents have to push their walkers or wheel chairs over huge power cables, they had pizza brought to their rooms for their dinner because the dining room was closed (we took dad out for dinner).

I’ll be contacting the state agencies about this).

Hahahahaha, Lowdown–classic line. Steve—you need to get some faster internet. That’s a 3-4 minute DL for a normal connection. I want to see the high res stuff, or at least downrezed to 720 and not compressed too much.

Does anyone actually see a ‘review’ on there? or just two videos? Hmmm

Steven- 70MB is very small already. It only took 1 minute to download both of them on a fast connection. I can’t believe you are winging about that tiny file, what, are you still on dial-up?!

I have a fairly fast connection so it only took 3 or 4 minutes for the files to download. Well worth it too, as these clips are absolutely stunning when you consider they come from a DSLR. Way we go Canon! And many thanks to Julian and his team for posting these on his site and Canon Rumors for providing the link. My twoonies and loonies (Canadian) are going in the old piggy bank every day now. Gotta get me one of those 5D Mk II cameras in time for my grandson’s baseball season next year! In the immortal words of Fred Flintstone ….. Yaba daba doo!
