What I'd like to see is something significantly wider and not quite as long - like a 12-70 which would be the equivalent of something like a 19-112. Hmmmm… David Ziser likes it and uses it regularly. Bob Atkins seems to like it. DPReview likes it. Ken Rockwell likes it. I’ve used it since 2006 and it stacks up very well against my 17-40mm F/4L USM.

But that’s just my take on it.
