My wish list for 2009

1). New stadard lenses good enough for EOS 1ds mk III. Why can’t Canon have a series of lenses that can comped with Leica and Hasselblad. I really need a better 24-70 2,8.

2). Better flashes. A new Speedlight 720 EX could have been cool. But the most important thing is faster recyceling, better bild quality and softer light.

I’m waiting on getting my 5D Mark II with the new firmware to finish the testing. I will say the 50mm isn’t nearly as strong as the 85 1.4, which I’m a big fan of.

I had to send the lenses back to Zeiss, but I will request the 85 1.4 again to test with the 21mp FF sensors.

Any word on the zeiss lens review you’ve been promising? I am torn between this and canon and am interested to see some results on a canon body to see if the extra cost plus loss of AF is worth it.
