The 200 f/2 MIGHT just pip it in IQ, but if it does, only just. Easily, the Canon 300 2.8 IS is one of the best lenses produced by Canon and Nikon both. May be, the IS is improved. There are a lot of other lenses they should improve to be usable with open aperture and 20MP (80lines per mm at the chip?) like 50/1.4 .
