1Ds Replaced Before 1D? [CR1]

Dell know something?
Apparently someone tried to lease a 1Ds Mark III from Dell and were told it was at the end of its product life.

I’m guessing something was lost in translation. I could see them with stock of a 1Ds Mark II still.

Does Dell know something?? you ask. I don’t think Dell knows how to find it’s *ss with both hands. The people they employ to talk to their customers seem to know little about anything. CR1 may be an overstatement.
