However, I didn't get searched at Lima airport. You press a button... green is go... red is search. Completely random. People do it all the time, I can't see it being an issue. I was there last week and they looked at my 1dIII and lenses and said that I couldn't take any of it in! Not one bit, I asked to use my film body and like my 16-35 but they said no way:( They said it was on my ticket, that "you can't be professional or have professional equipment" and it was. Pity my hotel got the ticket for me and I didn't get it till that day :( I ended up being allowed to take my Holga in but the woman was highly suspect about my medium format film........ Anyway, it's an awesome place. I can't fault them or get angry. It's there place and they have the right to set the rules anyway they see it. If you make it to Chinchero, go to the weaving co-op and say hi to Vilma and Paulino.
