I work for BEST BUY and in our system it shows that this unit both kit and body only are both discontinued

L lenses are suppose to be big and heavy.

Talking about that, someone who understands lens design answer this.

A 24-105 2.8L IS would be similar is size/weight to a 70-200 2.8L IS?! Or actually weigh less and/or be smaller?
