It’s time
With the help of CR regular Cody, we have launched the official Canon Rumors forums.
http://www.canonrumorsforum.com
Why a forum?
The comment threads on the site are getting far too deep and becoming difficult to read.
Beta Test
This is a BETA test. If you notice any bugs or issues let me know. The Facebook community helped during the last few days.
The forums are on a separate server from the web site, so I’ve built in some redundancy in case of issue. I’ll be working posts into the forums, so hopefully most of the comments will move over to the boards!
Have fun!

The neutral observer also hopes they are removed. He got sick of them a while ago. At first the Neutral Obaerver they were funny, but now he thinks they are lame.

Then could you please investigate the following technical issue :
My answer to the following thread just disappeared :
Justin >
Those of us who were around from the beginning know the gist of what happened between CR Guy and Canon, and yes, it did end positively.
Diego > Justin, could you talk about it to the youngest of us?

We can only hope.
Seriously, there should be a sub-forum just for direct print jokes.

Of course, we’re in the process of making the board for them right now!

Great idea to have a forum for discussions. However, it’s annoying that you need to register or sign-in EVEN TO READ the comments.
I (somewhat)understand doing that to post on the discussions, but come on – not being able to view / read without signing in is just lame.
You might also want to rethink this from an SEO perspective. This will get totally missed.
Anyway, cheers for the good work and congrats on the forum. Thought you’d appreciate the feedback.

Hey CE!
Thanks for taking the time to make suggestions.
I have fixed the browsing, so everyone can read. Oversight on my part.
I knew you’d all fix it in no time. :)

Coming right up, the theme wasn’t as forgiving as I thought.

We’re working on a link back to the website! Don’t fear.
What is this about not being able to see without registering? I might need to change a setting for that.

26 August, the new Canon Eos
2008-08-05 20:06 2008-08-05 20:06
We have already received an invitation from Canon to a display on 22 september. Now we have a new call.
The news will appear on 26 August is quite clear. If Canon will also demonstrate new products, 22 september, we do not know.
While serving on 26 August will start at 9.00 in Stockholm, but probably is the news released an hour earlier. We are obviously in place to report and make web-TV.

Oh dear, according to my mirthless corporate IT:
>Reason for block ==> This Websense category is filtered: Potentially Damaging Content
Other forums that I access at work are fine, so I can’t imagine what you have going on there. Possibly a problem with another site on a shared server. Unfortunately I’ll have to wait until I’m home to get my full quota of MOAR PRINT BUTTON jokes.

When you customize your account, you can choose pictures of actors or musicians…
Can you also add a series of camera’s and direct print buttons to choose from? :-)

You can upload any form of avatar that you’d like! Even from a website link. My personal favorite:
