US is a huge country with a lot of people (Maybe a lot of them are poor)

UK Poor people are worms than doesn’t like to work and love to receive benefit from UK Goverment. Every Day most people love this status.

For Intelligent Hard Working People with some UNI Dregree US earning will be a lot Higher. Just look in websites like Monster and compare Professional Salaries.

All Occupations
Median Hourly $15.57

Asuming 9 – 5:30> 37.5 Hour week = Median UK = £12.77

And a £1 = $1.59

UK 20.31 median per hour

So quick calcuation shows people in the UK earn on average earn 1.3 more than people in the USA

Expect it to match the D300s streetprice fairly quickly, around £1300.

The UK is , to my knowledge, the only place where there is a significant price differeence between the two, in fact its cheaper than the Nikon in the US.

Sorry my friend but you are wrong. I used to think that way until I lived in US for 6 months. Salaries are a lot better in USA than in the UK even Taxes are lower over there. maybe in EUROPE we have more Cultural and Art Stuff but wehn you talk about money N.America is the PLACE.

Thank God, atleast there is one person in this planet who understands that things are expensive in UK and income levels are high correspondingly. I tried to explain this but people refuse to understand. They want to pay US dollar equivalents for their purchases but want british standard of income.

I agree. Seen some quite good pre-order bundles including the 7D + 580EXII for £1789 meaning you’re getting the body for about £1500. I expect the price will level out at about £1300, it probably would of gone cheaper but with V.A.T. going up in January this price seems realistic.

If same as terminal in that room please change numbers and details on system. The pc is not terminal like for this pacs isn’t in working command and Kevin is not amused.

50D is available at around £730, I think the 7D will eventually drop to around £1,300 but that will probably be after xmas.
