I was using the RC with my 7D and converted to full 2.6 last night. Do I have to reimport 7D photos for “newer conversions” for the full version to take place? My fist guess is no…but I have no idea… Anybody know?

Mind you, CR reported Aperture support 3 days earlier. So you could have had 3 extra days of pre-release support. The excitement is almost tangible! :|

Well, someone at dpreview forum have compared LR2.6RC, LR2.6final and DPP3.7.2. And clearly LR2.6 has less noise than LR2.6RC in this test. Done @ ISO2500 and default processing without NR: http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1019&message=34009220.

How awesome. There will actually be support for 1D IV before it’s even sold. Ohh the joy! I will not have to live with using DPP or shooting jpeg before LR can read my files.
