I was using the RC with my 7D and converted to full 2.6 last night. Do I have to reimport 7D photos for "newer conversions" for the full version to take place? My fist guess is no...but I have no idea... Anybody know?

Mind you, CR reported Aperture support 3 days earlier. So you could have had 3 extra days of pre-release support. The excitement is almost tangible! :|

Wow this site is really starting to suck. What does this have to do with Canon Rumors? It should be called DPreview's leftovers.com.

Well, someone at dpreview forum have compared LR2.6RC, LR2.6final and DPP3.7.2. And clearly LR2.6 has less noise than LR2.6RC in this test. Done @ ISO2500 and default processing without NR: http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1019&message=34009220.

How awesome. There will actually be support for 1D IV before it's even sold. Ohh the joy! I will not have to live with using DPP or shooting jpeg before LR can read my files.
