Agree. This is most likely the lenses as the ones talked about on the new post. Looks like I’ll be reluctantly buying a 5DMII in February since it is becoming evident the 5DMIII is likely in the distance.

Together with CES ;) The big launching is happening a few weeks later. (not sure if they’ll introduce the new producs here already, but i wouldn’t be surprised if there were at least some leaks)

Dear press relation.

We would like to make you aware of the following dates:

On tuesday, januari 5th we are organising a small pressevent to toast to the new year and introduce a couple of new products.
We understand that a number of journalists will be at CES but this isn’t the big Canon Launch event yet, which will follow a few weeks later.

The exact location and time will follow asap but assume somewhere in the area of Haarlem between 2pm and 5pm.

I would like to recieve confirmation by mail from those who are planning to come.

On monday the 11th, wednesday the 13th and friday the 15th of januari 2010 the Techrepair/Canon Pro-days will be held in Bergen op Zoom. Professional photographers will get the opportunity to have their Canon gear cleaned and have small repairs made. This service is free of charge for the photographers and will give Canon the opportunity to display new products such as the Mark IV, PIXMA PRO-printers and Wide Format. It is also a good opportunity fo get introduced with the new repaircenter Techrepair.
