When It comes to auto-focus, just find out which brand Sports Illustrated photographers are using (the majority)…then you’ll find out which camera has the best autofocus. I do tend to see more and more Nikons out there but Canon has the majority for now. We’ll see in the future if Canon can keep it.

Mine will be in hand on Friday, and I have very little or no interest in what Nikon is doing.

- Better ISO performance than my 5D (classic)? YES
- Better focus? YES
- More resolution? YES
- Two memory cards? YES
- Better in poor weather? YES
- Uses the same lenses? YES (with slightly different FOV)
- Clean images at ISO 100? DUH
- Full 1080p video in a usable, well supported format? YES

Given the history of the mkIII, if canon wanted a QUIET
fix there’s no way the cover story would be a focus improvement.

I belive whit the proud of Japanise Ingeniering the Firmware
is an escuse
the real problem of noise Canon dont whant To admit
I belive the Target Is Iso and electrical Noise and exagerate cromatic noise ( quiet fix )

not true!!!, you can grind out the Mirror (yup the Mirror)a couple of mm and you can easily use efs lenses, google it and you can find lots of info on how to do it.
but unlike on Nikons you´ll have to crop out the vignette in PP. nikon has the patent on in camera crop mode.
