It looks like an awesome package for a Rebel/xxxD camera, I dont know if I’ll be replacing my 50D with one but I’ll certainly be buying one for the movie functions and possibly as a travel camera.

It looks like this 550D (T2i) camera contains many of the features of the 7D – but toned down a bit. Interestingly, the sample shots show the camera with an 18-55mm lens (as one would expect), but the final shot shows an opened kit package with an 18-135mm lens. Is this kind of kit normal for a Rebel camera?

Canon has just started a press conference in a movie-theatre in Oslo, now.. announcement of 1Ds mk4 and other cameras are expected according to this article:

i dont think its 1440*1080

maybe its the same like ex1/3 or panasonic hpx 301e
or so.

i hope its the firmware update! or a new codec for dslr. (raw :) or a red/scarlet challenger. :)
