Some of the stuff that he writes is genuinely useful, if you can bear to wade through all of the opinionated waffle that goes with it. I'm sure that half of what he writes he doesn't even believe himself, he just says it in order to be controversial, which boosts his hit count. I've got no problem with the guy making money from advertising (just like the CR guy does), workshops or doing interviews; many 'professionals' do this to make ends meet. The only bit that I have a problem with is the begging for money bit at the end.
