A Plug for friend: Birds, Birds, Birds!
My good friend and Canon shooter, Ethan Meleg will be hosting  a bird photography workshop on Ecuador this February. I spent time in Ecuador last year with Ethan, and shot an abundance of birds and learned a ton. It's a wonderful rainforest experience. Hummingbirds, toucans, Cuckoos and all sorts of other species. I went almost everywhere he'll be going this February. The accomodations and people were wonderful.

Ethan actually makes a living in outdoor photography, and that's pretty rare. He's well known around Canada as a speaker and teacher. He also likes Oreo's, and anyone that likes Oreo's is a good person.

A Brief outline
“Ecuador is much more than just the site of the equator. It is the perfect setting for wildlife and landscape photography. Not only is it home to a variety of spectacular birds and wildlife, but there are several diverse habitats in close proximity to each other. This tour focuses on photographing Ecuador’s diverse birds and wildlife, including some of Ecuador’s 50 species of hummingbirds. Outdoor Photographer and birder Ethan Meleg will provide personalized instruction, to help you get that perfect shot.

This 10 day tour explores two major regions in Ecuador, all within a comfortable driving distance Quito, Ecuator’s capital.”
