Rebate extensions are good
Canon has extended the DSLR & lens combination rebate program until February 24, 2012. The 7D and 5D Mark II are the main DSLR bodies for the rebate program.

There are also combo rebates for the Pixma 9000 Mark II printer.

B&H Sales Until January 7, 2012
The folks at B&H have extended their free shipping (in the USA) promo for various lenses that are on sale. There are far too many to list.

There are lenses from Canon & Tamron included in this sale. The best deal I see is the 70-200 f/2.8L IS II for $2069. I also have a soft spot for the 70-300L which is down to $1349 and worth every penny.

Some off brand goodness
A few of the highly regarded lenses from Sigma and Tokina are on sale at B&H until December 31, 2011.

I usually recommend the Sigma 50 f/1.4 over both the Canon 50 f/1.2L and 50 f/1.4 to most people I know. The 1.2L is better, but not by much.
