New Photographer Profile – Wayne Simpson

New Photographer Profile – Wayne Simpson

Introducing Wayne Simpson
After a long hiatus, we are continuing our photographer profiles here at Canon Rumors. They’ve been popular and very well received in the past, don’t ask me why I stopped doing them. These will be coming at a more regular pace from here on in.

It’s always great to meet working photographers and help give them some exposure. We talk lots about a gear, which is a lot of fun. However, it’s good to see what people are doing with the stuff.

Wayne is a working wedding and nature photographer based in Calgary, Alberta presently. He’ll be moving to Ontario, Canada in the coming months, my neck of the woods as a matter of fact. Please check out his profile and some of his work.

New Photographer Profile: Adam Elmakias

New Photographer Profile: Adam Elmakias

Photographer & Lens Bracelet Founder Adam Elmakias
I met Adam when he purchased some advertising on Canon Rumors for his Lens Braclet company. I was immediately intrigued by the idea, and also noticed he was a very good photographer.

I thought it was important to show a photographer that was also earning an income in other ways, but staying in the industry. He kind of reminded me of me. :)

Enjoy the read.

Photographer Profile: Drew “Rukes” Ressler

Photographer Profile: Drew “Rukes” Ressler

Our 3rd photographer profile has been completed.

Drew “Rukes” Ressler took the time to talk with us about his photography and his business. Business looks to be pretty good for him.

As I mention in the interview, I was intrigued by Drew because he seems to have created a thriving business in a new and/or underserved genre of photography.

Check out the CR interview.

It’s time to meet the photographers behind our long overdue 2nd photographer profile.

This couple travels the globe capturing the human condition. They aspire to be full-time photographers in a very difficult photography field to make a living.

I love their work and I hope you do too.
