We posted yesterday that Canon would announced 2 EF-M prime lenses in Q1 of 2016 as they accelerate and become more aggressive with their mirrorless strategy (I'm still not convinced there is one).
Now we're told one of the lenses will be a 35mm f/1.8 STM. This isn't coming from the same source, but a 35mm on a crop is probably more desirable than a 50mm prime. They could add an 85mm down the road.
I think one of the prime lenses to come in the first part of 2016 will be a macro of some kind, possibly around 50mm.
