We've known for a while that the EOS 5D Mark IV would be announced at the end of August, and now we're starting to see some official hints that it's definitely happening.
There is an event called “Five Graphy” slated to begin in Japan on August 27, 2016 and looks to run through to September 11, 2016. While the promotion doesn't specifically mention the EOS 5D Mark IV, it's a pretty safe bet that the new camera will be showcased along with the rest of the EOS 5D family of cameras.
We're currently expecting a North American announcement on August 25, 2016. Though we don't know exactly what time of the day the announcement will happen.
