Wonderful pictures from the night zoo in Singapore, some shots even at ISO 51200, look terrific!

Kind regards,

5DMK3 JPEG ISO 12800 TEST, I have yet to test Raw file

I like this!  Great shot.  What lens and aperture was it shot with?

I took mine to the Boston Marathon. Using my 100-400L. I did some cropping to remove all the photographers who had press passes to be a few feet away from the winners.

Finally got a chance to spend an hour with it outside! All taken after 7.30pm in the UK against a setting sun... it got DARK, the full length shot is ISO 12,800. All processed from RAW in LR4.

Picture taken at a live concert at ISO 12800 (more from the concert under http://www.michael-goericke.de/bands/call-her-sugar/prinzenbar).

I also shot a 360 degrees interactive sphere with the same settings: http://www.michael-goericke.de/pano/musik/sugar3

Here is a photo of fresh Uku (Gray Snapper/Green Jobfish) sashimi I caught while free dive spearfishing last weekend. This was a test with the in-camera HDR processing while shooting handheld with available light.

HDR Settings: +/-3 EV, Natural Effect, Auto Image Align Enabled
Camera Settings: ISO 2000, EF 24-70 f/2.8L @ f/22, 1/320 sec

I would even like that picture if it was at 640 x 480 with a 7 years old mobile phone cam ... ;-) Mouthwatering !!!

HDR 5 shots with 24-70 f2.8 L at f8

St. Emmeram's Basilica [5D MKIII] von 1982Chris911 (Thank you 500.000 Times) auf Flickr

and finally a European Robin shot with 70-200mm f2.8 IS II - Shows very nicely how good the new AF is in comparison to the MK II. I was nearly never able to nail focus on these snap shots with the former model as the 9 point just did not work precisely enough.

I don't know what it is, but there's something about this shot. It's so simple, yet it stands out.

Nice use of selective focus, it's a technique I like using. I like the last one especially.
