Title: Anything shot with 6D, Part 1
Post by: verysimplejason on September 29, 2015, 04:10:36 PM
Let's start again a page showing all our good stuffs.  The old thread pictures are very inspiring for a lot of us 6D shooters.  Let's try to keep it at maximum of 20 pages for now.  Once it's filled, the next poster should create a new topic.   :)

I really love the colors of the photos that my 6D and 24-105L IS USM are producing.

Thank you Click. I'm still very much a noob to DSLRs and am just getting my bearings with this camera !

Some great shots here on page 1, keep them coming!

I love the 6D!  I shoot landscape and family stuff (3, 8 and 16 year-old sons) and its handled everything I've thrown at it.  It's excellent for low light and does a terrific job for landscape.  For the action and shots of the kids running around its keeper rate isn't great, but with the right technique, I've I have lots of excellent shots despite its AF limitations.

Who says you can't shoot action with a 6D and cheap lens (it certainly helped that the action was moving right to left, not moving toward me or away)!

6D with EF 50mm f/1.8 STM, f/4 1/1000 ISO 100 heavily cropped.

Wow! Amazing shot...  Pre-focus/panning sometimes can get an action shot even with a non-sporty AF of 6D.

Great shots!  I've found shots like this (subject moving toward you) to be somewhat of a challenge, but you nailed focus.

Thanks for the comments.  I was using a 70-300 4-5.6L and resting the camera on the deck rail for support.

Not sure, maybe to crop out the back of somebodies head.  I used the spot removal tools to remove that.  I do like the vertical crop better.
