Lenses / Re: What's the best deal you've ever gotten on a lens?

Bought a 6D kit from B&H for $2499 then the price dropped by $100 and they refunded me the difference.

Already bought a 24-105 for $750 new in November so i listed it on craigslist and kept the new 24-105 from my kit for myself and someone offered to trade me a 24-70 2.8 mark 1 for it so i checked it out and it was super clean and only a few years old so now I got that and a new 24-105 for the cost of the kit over the body only...

and B&H gives you 2% rewards on top of all that!

It's already out and has been... Just go on your iOS device and search "EOS Remote" in the App Store. Good Luck!

EOS Bodies / Re: Which is better? 5D MKII or 6D?

5. You can't beat a 5D2 with 24-105 kit for $2299. IT WAS A STEAL... THANKS AMAZON!!!!!
6. The money saved allowed me to justify a 70-200L IS II.

Actually you can: http://www.canonrumors.com/2013/01/deal-canon-eos-6d-bundles-at-bh-photo/
6D for $2499 (With no tax which Amazon does have in my state and 2% =$49.98 in B&H rewards and another 2% from my credit card company)
But please hook me up with your link for a $100-200 70-200 2.8L ISII because that's a steal!

Also: for those saying CF>SD and it will cost a fortune for new cards have you looked up prices for SD online lately?  One quick search and $59.95 for a 64GB sandisk extreme (about 2,500 RAWs) from B&H with 45mb/s so if you can afford a Canon Full frame in any flavor I'd say you can afford a few SD's  ???

It's meant to be a universal symbol for someone who has great taste in camera equipment so that others with inferior gear/taste might take note and up their game.
Also on an unrelated note when shooting in the desert in summer my camera body is hot to the touch and my white glass is much much cooler...

Software & Accessories / Re: Problems pairing Canon 6D and Smartphone

Hey all! First off let me say that I don't have a 6D but i had an almost identical problem pairing my iPhone 5 with my Gopro hero 3.  Similar situation and the way i ended up getting it to work was:
1. Turn on wifi (obviously)
2.Turn the phone to airplane mode
3.Go to wifi settings while still in airplane mode and turn wifi back on
4. Select the camera network
5.Boom! you got yourself a network

Again, not saying this will work but it is worth a try because it worked when nothing else would on my Hero 3
Good luck guys!
