Don't be fool guys  it's the review of 5D3, where is every word "5D3" replaced by "6D". You should read "Under construction, don't read further" If you don't trust me, than open in new window review of 5D3 and check it by yourself

Just confirming I got my canon 1 dx about an hour ago from calumet Manchester apparently they got 9 bodies in and mine was the first to be collected!! I have just got it home it is absolutely amazing I can't take the smile off my face! The battery only had a small amount of charge in it I have just put my 85mm 1.2L lens on left it in program mode and took some quick shots of my wife painting the house inside!! I think it will be a while before I venture out of "P" mode it's that good!!! Put it in al servo mode just to see how fast it was, it was like a machine gun with every picture pin sharp and exactly the same exposure!!! The camera truly is amazing if yours is on order you are going to love it!!!

could you please post raws with high ISOs?

Lenses / Re: 17-40L bad copy?

Just got a new 17-40L from a local shop (along with the 70-200mmL IS). The focus on the 17-40L seems off... it is worse than what I remember on my 18-55 kit lens. I know not scientific enough... but having tested the 70-200mm on my 1D2, it seems sharp enough as I would expect any L lens to be, and I am not comparing the 17-40L to the 70-200, but it really does not seem sharp enough.

Does anyone know of QA issues with the 17-40L?

I have the same problem....sharpness of my new 17-40 is far worse than my Canon 50mm f1,4 and Sigma 70-200. I also expected better results...
