LOL.. You should probably sell your bridge on Ebay part of their deal of the day program.. Since you probably understand it better than the guys working at Ebay :)

I have the same issue with my 5d2 and 70-200 2.8 2.. I didnt have anything like that with my 7d. I think its perfectly normal.

I dropped my 7d with 10-22 lens. In built Flash stopped working and the camera was still under warranty.

I sent it to Canon Irvine and mentioned it to the support about dropping the camera. They fixed it free of charge. I guess it depends on the type of damage too...
