70-200 2.8 works fantastic as an al around sports lens.  If lighting is an issue then the 135 f2 will be greats it is fast too.  They usually are not keen on flash at these meets, so available light fast glass is required for great images..

Both b&H and Adorama show the case as included in the "what's include" links..

Lexar 1000x CF cards made a big difference for me too on my 5DIII
Buffer still maxes out but and I only shoot raw..  I have been able to get quite a bit more in a burst when shooting sports.. Definitely helped out..

Lenses / Re: What is you wedding kit?
« on: June 05, 2012, 04:08:10 PM »
Just did our first wedding.. Brought the 70-200 II IS 2.8L, 50 1.2 L, 24-70 I 2.8L, 8-15 f4 L, and the 85 1.8, along with the 580EXII  and used the 7d and 5dII... the only lens not used.. 85 1.8....
I used the 24-70 for a majority of the shots..  I will have to agree that the 70-200 does have some great impact on the images too..amazing piece of glass!

It would be nice to see the push pull design go away.. along with the dust sucking that it does.  holding off until new comes out..fingers crossed.

We use both..  Lightroom for minor stuff along with cataloging.  Photoshop for real editing.. definately use both all the time... could probalby get by with just lightroom and elements 10... Had been using apeture and since lightroom have not looked back.

Looks like the body on the 200-400 is the 1DX.  With the on/off location on the first body with the 600mm... I am leaning towards 7DII.. any takers??  Nice battery Grip with joystick though..

Our local meets allow me to get nice and close to the mats..  5dII with 135 f2  and the 85 f1.8  work great.. depending on the gym, the lighting is definately a challenge at times..   These are with the 5dII and a 135@f2
