If these specs are really what the 7D2 will be then I see no point of waiting so long for this.
Might as well buy a 7D or just go FF.

1 CF card surprised me and the 19 AF points, sounds like the current 7D with "slight" improvements...

If this is a 70D then I can accept these specs...
It is a CR1 so nothing is certain. Canon aren't too quick on these new releases

I'm excited for these 2 releases!
Updating my body would be useful and having the same IQ and AF on a new 100-400 with 4 stop IS would allow me to sell my 400L which lacks IS for low light shooting..

that means i can stop visiting this website every few hours to check for news.
two crap cameras to be announced on friday.   

canon again dissapoints while new nikon cameras continue to have an wow effect.

I'm waiting to upgrade my Rebel XS as it's seriously limiting me in every aspect except for weight 
The 7D isn't worth it for me because of the terrible ISO performance.
If Canon doesn't release a 70D or 7D2 that are really outstanding with close (but not as good) ISO performance as the 6D, 5D3 & 1DX and updated sensors i'll just have to invest into a 17-40L and 6D or move to the dark side.
Sure i'm whinning but myself & many others who are eager to upgrade their bodies are dissapointed to see 2 new camera's that were never even mentioned and don't look in any way amazing. I wouldn't upgrade from a Rebel XS to a T5i because I wouldn't consider it being a big "upgrade" .

Canon surely wants to aim for the starters that buy Rebels but there is just as much if not more market in the xxD or xD lines.

Fingers crossed.

Very nice.  I especially like the wing and engine in the shot for the extra points of interest.  Though, I suspect you didn't have much choice in the matter.  ;-)

Well at 22mm it wasn't very interesting and 70-200 just showed the lovely layers.

Just before I get shocked by 41°C after coming from Germany with 8°C

Very nice shot, looks like a stunning place!
I had that feeling when coming from -25°C in Canada to +27° in Mexico. As the airport doors opened this heat just HITS you...

Was in front of a Canon Elan S SLR most of my childhood. My parents still have it...
Canon always came to me as the only brand, never really liked Nikon's grip feeling, design and layout. I much preffered the quicker and easier to use Canon and the great lenses they make.

Hi guys!

Recently on a trip to Florida, I experienced an outstanding sunset! I took many frames and waited for the right moment for the beacon light to flash (red light under jet fuselage/body). Struggling to cover the Personal TV with a magazine in front of me, the passenger next to me noticed and offered to hold it against it so I can reduce the window reflection. Being very patient and still, I pulled of this handheld 2.5 exposure photo at ISO 320:

I was astonished how the photo turned out, of course not perfect and slightly blurry but not too noticeable for a fairly long handheld shot!
