i would love a 1dc with the 4k and all; however, I would have to buy into a whole different system workflow wise.

hard copy to 4x6 works if it is the same paper. have tou tried easyprint pro plugin for L4. i may help.

i've not handled any of those high end canon or nikon bodys; however the ones in white seem like they would focus faster, so you can lock on and get the perfect action shot.

   video i shot with the 100. great lens for video and for still. would not recomend a non is lens for video unless you have a stabliser rig.

i does seem like a rework of the 18mp sensor about a 1 stop improvement high iso. looks like canon did good with this one cant wait to see the 70d.

Can somebody clarify if the new "Hybrid CMOS" AF is in fact a combination of PDAF and CDAF like the Nikon 1 sensor or something different?

Yes pdaf for broad traking in a center cross pattern and cdaf for fine tuning.

ok...so the press release isn't clear...

Can you use Auto Focus for video ONLY if you use an STM lens?

Does that mean my $1200 24-105 L lens is no good for video?

Yes it will work with all ef and efs lens only the stm will be smooth and quiet.
Has any one confirmed if 3x crop mode is an included in specs.

burst rate on 60d is double that of the 650d in raw ,1/8000 shutter , 250 sync speed, finer iso settings. weather sealing. and it does not say rebel on the camera.

score an 82 and beats 5d mkiii out of the top ten. May the fun begin.
