Awesome, I'm going to keep using my 5D3 anyway because I enjoy the challenge of shooting with low DR!  ;D

Does anybody know if the LC-5 can trigger the camera if you have the remote in your pocket? Or does it require line-of-sight? I'd like to be able to have the camera around my neck with my hand in my pocket (triggering) the shutter.

Consider starting a new thread rather than a 2 year old one.  This might get you more replies.
The answer is, no one knows for sure, radio waves can be attenuated in some materials while they pass thru others just fine, so it depends on the fabric in your pocket, and if you get damp or wet.  I'd expect it to work in your case, since you are so close.

Thanks MtSpokane.

were you also the one holding the bird? if so, that must have been difficult to shoot left-handed   :P

Wow, some great pics in this thread, here's one of mine. Shot with the 50mm f/1.2L

It wasn't me who was holding the bird but my gf.

It requires ONE actuation only. The resultant .CR2 file is processed via a program named cr2hdr.exe and produces a DNG file.

thanks for the reply Tron!

That is some pretty amazing technology then. As a stills shooter with a 5DIII it's only getting harder to resist trying ML now.

Hey everyone.

I wanted to ask a newbie question about this new Magic Lantern Developed "DUAL ISO" tech.

Using this setting for stills, does it take more than one exposure and then combine them (like HDR) or does it only require one actuation of the shutter?

Sounds like a camera salesman purging all the crap he has to deal with on a daily basis. (People with a lot more money than sense or photographic ability)

Smell like a Monopoly effect to me. They are just as bad as Quark imo.
It's 2013 FFS, they should offer both options.
