FF sensor in compact body(like RX1) + pancake fast prime lenses(14,16,35,50,85,135, and or 200mm) = BIG SALE

Yawn. If Canon would look to the RX1 for some inspiration, then I might consider it.

A full frame mirrorless from Canon (with inrerchangable lens system), is my dream camera.

But Canon will never do it. They are too afraid of stepping on their own toes.

They better not be afraid, cause if they wait, Nikon & Sony will be more then happy to stomp on their feet for them.

<yawn> Wake me when the EOS-M gets FF. THEN I'll get excited.

How come so few people have reviewed this camera? I havn't read one review about this lens either!
because it's new  ::)

The guys overs at DigitalRev did an entertaining review of it Canon 650D / T4i Hands-on Review

Is that $1,999 for the camera AND the kit lens? Or just the body? :-P

Cause if it's for the camera AND the kit lens....I am soooooo buying one. $1,499 would be sweet for a entry level full frame.

Why would someone buy one of these when they could get the canon 28 f1.8 for $300 cheaper??

Because of the IS? Puh-lease. I'd rather have the 1.8!

I kinda agree with alot of the comments here. Seems odd for a dslr...especially since the plastic fantastic 50f1.8 does the job faster & cheaper.

It's probably meant for the rumored mirror-less canon i would imagine.

But hey...i am not complaining. Always nice to hear Canon is adding to their prime lenses. :-)

This is JUST the update i was waiting for! I wonder which one will get the FF treatment? Lol

Seriously tho, I've been waiting for the rebel update...and to hear that it might be released alongside Canon's first mirrorless camera. Hmm. Decisions decisions! Heh heh heh

Will have to wait and see what the features & price of each will be.

If either one turns out to be that low priced FF this site was talking about...that would be saweeeet. Not gonna hold my breath...but very drool worthy if true.

Anyway, just wanted to chime in. One more month baby! Not too long to wait. :-)

I would LOVE to see a FF rebel! Yup. Thats what I'd like ta see. Canon, make it happen!

Small. Light. Basic. Entry level FF for the masses. Yeah baby! Bring it! Heh heh heh
