Anyone use Yongnuo speelights for Canon? http://www.amazon.com/Yongnuo-YN-560-Speedlight-Flash-Nikon/dp/B0079M711S/ref=pd_luc_sim_02_02_t_lh?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They're like $500 cheaper than Canon speedlights. Worth it?

I'd use them as off-camera flashes. Do they work with wireless triggers like Pocket Wizards?

Blackmagic Design recently announced a 4k camera for $4,000 with a Super 35 sized sensor (similar to APS-C sized) that has an EF mount:

Black Magic also announced 2 years ago that it would deliver their products on time.
Some people are STILL waiting for their Gen 1 products when they are out announcing their Gen 3 versions.

What good is a $4000 camera if you have to wait for 18 months + to use it?

They claim to have solved this issue. The problem was with who was making their sensors. They had plenty of bodies ready to go but without sensors inside them. They're using a different manufacturer this time around, who they say will be able to make enough to support demand.

What is texture-city? Could you please elaborate? Beautiful work...

You should spend less time on gear rumour sites and more on photoshop tutorial sites, eg Phlearn. Those images you posted just have a ton of textures applied to them. If you don't know what that means, like I said, less time worrying about gear and more learning about post.

The rock on the right hand side of the image bothers me.  Damn nature, getting in the way of aesthetics.

He clearly left it there by choice. It would take about 20 seconds to remove it and he is clearly competent in post-production.

Looks like at most he added a radial gradient to the top right corner to exaggerate the light fall off, but mostly it just looks like there was some nice fog in the air and some soft, evening light coming through the trees. Go to India if you want this effect.

And yes, the tile floors and stool seats are a dead giveaway that this is not an exterior location, so good luck arguing with me.

No one cares that the best low-light performance camera along with the best low-light performance lens can take good shots in low-light conditions. Tell us something we don't know, please.
