- stability > transportability

http://www.berlebach.de/

I think is a great choice for long time exposures, but for my own taste there are bit too heavy.

Personnaly I'm really happy with my triopo combo. Good quality for little money.
I was really impressed, its not the usual "made in china" crap.

MaxPower, I get a decoding error on the latest RAW you made available.

Here another file for testing, if you still get an error I suppose your software don't support the EOS 6D.

Animal Kingdom / RAW of Meerkat nothing to fix ?

It was interesting to see what you did with my raw file of the snow leopards.
So here is another RAW file, but with nothing to fix I think.
Anyway some processing is always good  ;)
So be creative.

Your 100-400 looks like a very sharp copy.
Indeed.

Im very happy with it.

I really like iMagics attempt, but the more cropped portrait versions are also very nice.
Here is my own work I do with Aperture 3

Animal Kingdom / How would you fix this RAW of 2 baby snow leopards
« on: March 18, 2013, 02:31:11 PM »
This photo I took last week in cologne zoo, but the flash and the windows of the snow leopard compound were a really bad combo. So how would you fix this photo, below you find a link to the RAW file. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ghw2296zm6watcq/2013-03-13%20um%2012-26-45.CR2

I will post my own work later on.

Tiger in Zoo. I have to wait 3 hours to make this shoot.

So ultimately it might well just be that Canon cameras look more slick and are easier to use.

For me this was true, I don't like the Nikon look and feel.
So I buyed two canon bodys this year, ignoring the D7000 and D600 totally as valid choices.

EOS Bodies / Re: Next year's APS-C vs. this year's FF
« on: November 24, 2012, 06:09:30 PM »
I think it would make lot sense for canon, if next year aps-c maybe aps-h cameras are the first with a 180nm sensor. The yield rate are higher with a smaller sensor. I would like to see equal iq to current ff, but I wouldn't bet on it.

EOS Bodies - For Stills / 5DMiii Shutter Button doesnt click ?
« on: November 12, 2012, 05:47:08 PM »
I got my new 5D Mark III today, from amazon but I am little bit puzzled.
On my old 600D the shutter clicks when pressed down completely.
He can feel when it is press halfway, it clicks if you press stronger.
But on the 5D I feel no pressure point, is it broken or works the 5D in this way different to the rebel cam.
