 Hi!

I hope this is not in the wrong place.

Need your help: what is the name of that "thing" some people uses in their pc/mac that prevents light from fall to screens? It has some side blockers.. do you know? I kind of an hat for the screen! 

I don't know the name in english.

Where can I find it?

I did notice those problems with my 5D3 and a 580EXII flash. It just takes too long to focus.

I tried 580EXII with my 7D and noticed that the assist beam was bigger, lighter.. well, there is really a difference in the beam.

I think if you try to focus on further (and by further I mean about 3 meters) the assist beam it's not so effective. I say this because I tried to focus on a close object in an almost dark environment and it was ok.

Let's hope Canon fix this.

To those who had problems with EOS Utility 2.11.4 and Mac OS 10.7.5, there is already a version available at Canon USA site (2.12.0) that doesn't crash.

I think, in short term, prices will be lower.
I just bought mine for 3089€, the best price found, here, in Portugal. In Amazon (Spain) it can be bought for 2934€.

Too bad that price it is only for USA. If i had someone there, i would considerer it. A 5D Mark3 for 2000€..

Let's wait and see what is next.
