HAHAHAHA This is so funny, only a few months ago most of you were slating the d800 saying that it was over kill in MP,file size and that 22MP was the ideal number.
Now theres hints of a canon 46MP thats all out the window.
It will be interesting to see how this pans out, I can't see it having such specs with so hi Mp,fps and iso performance.

I wouldn't be surprised if it actual did come out but as more of a MF rival in a larger, extremely expensive body c300 style maybe.

hahah fan boys are so funny..
How is the 5dmk3 the better camera than the d800.
theres so little difference between them, and the only people that have to compare them so hard are the fan boys .
Maybe due to not being able to afford either or because of there insecurities.

only a few years ago you all thought that 3fps was fine, a 3 year old prehistoric AF was fine and the canon 5dmk2 was better as it had more MP.

Now you think that lots of MP is rubbish & 4 fps is rubbish.

Nikon users are exactly the same though. so don't get al defensive, i just find it highly funny..there all crying at the d600 price just now.

Yes I'm a nikon user but would swap to canon if money wasn't an issue, all these new gen cameras work great and only trump each other slightly in different areas there not one thats stand out better than the other.

EOS Bodies / Re: Nikon user Swapping to Canon with a 5D3

Hi
Can I ask which nikon camera you were using before the switch..Im currently a nikon user with a d700 and  pro glass, but i cant see
the d800 as a good upgrade for myself, so have been looking at switching to canon for the 5dmk3.
Maby im doing something wrong but find  myself shooting at 6400+ alot and the d700 struggles from there on, and the d800 doesnt seem much
of an improvement iso wise.

Ive never used a canon before so im not sure how i will get along with the controls..was it easy enough to pick up.
I also hear the canon 24-70 is very hit and miss with regards to getting a sharp copy(the mk2 is stupidly expensive) is this true..my nikon
is very sharp even wide open.
