Try shooting your 7D on iso multiples of 160. 160, 320, 640 and so on. I've noticed a big difference in noise when I use ISO multiples of 160. One my fellow 7D owners turned me on this and I've never gone back. After reading this thread, 160ISOs seem to make more sense to me when factoring in the 1.6 crop.

Lowepro Pro Runner 450 backpack: 7D inside camera cage with 15mm rods + follow focus system, 11-16mmF2.8, 35mmF2, 50mmF1.8, 75-300mmF4-5.6, Rode VideoMic Pro, Zoom H4N audio recorder, filter sets,  set of macro extensions under my GoPro Hero 3 Blk, and others.

Cheap fishing tackle box for my gopro accessories, wires, remotes, and adapters for video production.

I've used the same Lexar 16gb and 8gb CFs (300x) in my 7D for the past 5 years and I've never had a failed card. I ordered the twin pack Lexar 16gb CFs (400x) a few months ago for my second 7D body and they have performed just like my other Lexar CFs, just a little faster! As for SanDisk, I've worked with a few of their CFs but mostly their SDs and the pro-extreme lines of their SDs are fast and secure! I've used SanDisks SDs with the ENG JHM750 shoulder cam and GoPro 2 (just got my gopro 3 with a sandisk microSD), never had a problem. Those are the two brands I usually stick to, and at any given time one of these brands usually has some sort of deal too.

Canon 50mm F/1.8, Rode VideoMic Pro (plural eyes 3 software came free with Rode Mic), PhotographyAndCinema GearBox, Kamerar Follow Focus, and GoPro Hero 3 Black (with a few accessories).

The Frys Electronics store in Austin Tx had the 7D at $999.99, I'm pretty sure other Frys had the deal too. I saw this deal on Dec. 26th, not sure if it was a one day price.

Try the 717 ball head tripod, its made by fancier studios and few others. Check ephotoinc(.)com cowboystudio(.)com or fancierstudio(.)com. They all carry the same tripods, ephotoinc is tax free and shipping free. I just got my in last week and it is perfect for the price $144-160.

I just ordered this lens last week and it should be coming in the mail tomorrow! Finally I will have a true UWA for my 7D.
