Software & Accessories / Will a 300/2.8L + 2x extender + 5D fit mounted in a Lowepro Pro Trekker 300 AW?

I must upgrade my backpack, and due to that I live in a small town (with no good equipment stores) in Sweden, I can't try out the backpack before I buy it.

Normally when I carry the 300/2.8L IS II it is mounted on the 5D mk III without the extender. But sometimes I carry the extender mounted, so my question so, will the kit (300/2.8L IS II + Canon 2x extender + 5D mk III) fit mounted in a Lowepro Pro Trekker 300 AW (http://products.lowepro.com/product/pro-trekker-300-aw,2165,16.htm), or do I need the bigger 400 AW (http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Lowepro-Pro-Trekker-400-AW-Camera-Backpack-Review.aspx)? Often I do not carry the 300/2.8 and I think that the 400 AW will be unnecessary large for normal use.

When I measure the kit (300/2.8L IS II + Canon 2x extender + 5D mk III) it is 38.5 cm long and the Pro Trekker 300 AW have a height of 37 cm, but normally that is possible to fit a little bit bigger items in the bag.

Canon is reinforcing its commitment to high levels of service with the announcement of an additional one-year warranty for its EOS-1D X, EOS-1D C, EOS C100, EOS C300, EOS C300 PL, EOS C500 and EOS C500 PL camera bodies, providing photographers and filmmakers with two years of warranty coverage in total, free of charge.
 
The offer consists of a one-year extension on top of the one-year Standard European Warranty System (EWS), under identical terms and conditions, for a total warranty period of two years from the date of purchase (a proof of purchase and the one-year Standard European Warranty System will be required).
 
The two-year warranty is valid on products originally distributed by Canon within the EU countries plus Lichtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. To be able to claim the additional year of warranty you must have purchased the product in one of these countries.

I have asked Roel Lammers (Product Business Developer at Canon Svenska AB) about the delivery for the Canon 24-70/2.8L II and he informs me that it will be another delay. The delivery date is now October…

Lighting / Is the ST-E3-RT Delayed?

Earlier one of the Swedish shop (http://www.cyberphoto.se/info.php?article=ST-E3) listed the ST-E3-RT as available in end of April, but is now listed as delivery date unknown...
