That is a great side by side photo comparison of your 1Dx and your 7D with battery grip attached on your TDP & Flikr pages. I don't think I've ever seen the 2 together like that and it's an interesting glimpse for those of us 7D owners who (a. can't afford a 1Dx & b. don't have a camera store nearby to check the beast out). I just keep looking at the two for differences knowing how much the 7D weighs and feels, etc. I bet the 1Dx is quite a handful. That's pretty cool, thanx.
For my 50th birthday, my wife(and business partner) is taking us to the Southwest US to play and shoot photos. She rented us a couple 500mm MkII's for the trip. As you know from my collection at the bottom of my profile, we shoot with good old 300mm f4L IS's and the 500's are gonna be a giant and exciting leap forward for us. Can you offer any advice for us? We've got insurance, durable tripods etc. but more like field advice. We're wildlife shooters and any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanx everyone.
7D owners, does that post make you anxious or what? Imagine a fix to the ISO noise issues, autofocus issues and whatever other issues we've been having being implemented into the 7D. Man, then it would be an awesome body, wouldn't it? Waiting here at the edge of our seats for the release........
Does anyone know what Canon's specific number is as far as their consideration of what high ISO is? This is conjunction with the 7D's 'high ISO noise reduction' option in C.Fn II-02 and I wonder if they, as a company, have a specific number at which they consider high ISO. Thanx everyone.
We're new to the forum and have a question. How do we add our equipment to our profile? At the bottom of everyone's posts, I see that their equipment is listed. I don't see how to add this info under Profile.
