New Canon 600EX-RT is Sweet! - St. Augustine, FL

I received the flash a day before my workshops at the Florida's Birding & Photo Fest last month. This new flash is very efficient. Excellent control capabilities and the 200mm zoom is so much welcome. No Better Beamer for this one. I will try the gels this coming week.

Canon 5D MKIII, Canon 800mm L with 20mm Extension Tube, 600EX set at 200mm and -2. All in Manual mode.

First Image With The New 5D MKIII - Sandhill Crane Nest

I recieved my new 5D MKIII yesterday and decided to go to this nest and try the camera. Today I'll have more time to test the AF and such during my Spoonbills & More Workshop.

I read the following (BLUE PARAGRAPH)

If you also think this is rubbish, fill out a Canon online contact form and tell them, maybe they will do something about, they activated the F8 autofocus for the 1DX didnt they? Maybe there is still hope.

Can someone confirm this please? if so, link??
