EOS Bodies - For Stills / FF Sharper than crop?
« on: February 27, 2014, 07:43:09 AM »
Hey guys!
So I noticed on the digital-picture website iq comparison tool that FF seemed always sharper than a crop sensor.
http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/ISO-12233-Sample-Crops.aspx?Lens=486&Camera=736&Sample=0&FLI=0&API=0&LensComp=486&CameraComp=0&FLIComp=0&APIComp=0
Are there any physical explanations for this phenomenon?
I am new to this so....

Lenses / Canon 135mm Softfocus. Any good?
« on: September 19, 2013, 05:30:44 PM »
So I want to buy a fast tele prime and I recently checked out the 135mm Softfocus. (my Budget is extremely low) I dont really care about softfocus, although it would add a unique touch to my pictures.
Do you guys have any experience worth sharing? Is it good? (Bokeh, focus, built quality, optical quality etc.?)
I use a Canon 7D and a old 1D
Thanks!

Canon General / Modest Gear - Great Results
« on: August 21, 2013, 05:36:21 AM »
Hi,

I have been using my old Canon 1D mk 1 with a  Sigma 15-30mm zoom again. The results are outstanding for this modest gear (for today at least)

Post your results with old or "shitty" equipment too. I would love to see them

Here is my work btw: http://robertlnpdg.deviantart.com/gallery/

Technical Support / Canon 60D Mainboard Issue?
« on: April 22, 2013, 11:32:14 AM »
So I wanted to take some more shots yesterday and I noticed my battery was low, so I recharged it. After a while I put my fully recharged (I checked it on my second 60D) battery in my body.
The camera wont turn on and just the low battery sign on the top lcd screen flashes.
I tryied to connect it to my pc and to use another battery. Everything does not work (I does however on my second 60d body)
I use the original canon batteries and charger!
Is there a way to save my camera?
Thanks.
