Software & Accessories / Dual charger 5D Mark II
« on: September 29, 2011, 07:45:38 PM »
Can any one recommend a dual charger for my 5D MarkII battery LP-E6. I was going to buy the single charger system but I think it would be easier just to buy an after market dual charger. Thanks!

Canon General / Tilt shift lens help
« on: July 07, 2011, 09:28:01 AM »
I just rented the canon TS-E 17mm and need some pointers. I will be using this lens on a 5D mark II. I've been playing around with it for a couple of hours and know that the lens is manual focus, but I'm having troubles with metering. Does the cameras meter work with these kind of lenses? The shots are either over exposed or under. And I'm shooting in manual mode and mostly shooting architecture and some landscape stuff. I only have the lens for a week so I want the best out of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Canon General / Travel case
« on: March 18, 2011, 04:23:03 PM »
This is not Canon related but can any one recommended a travel case thats safe for air travel. I've been looking at the pelican cases and have heard good things. I need something that will accommodate two bodies and a couple of large lenses and some other odds and ends. And do I go with the foam that comes with the case or get the special order padded dividers? Or is there other products out there that would be an option?

Lenses / What ones best?
« on: March 05, 2011, 12:56:06 PM »
I'm thinking about buying a tilt-shift lens. But not sure what lens to get, i've narrowed it down to the 17mm F4.0L TS and the 24mm F3.5L TS. I'll be using the lens mostly on nature and some architecture. Is there any lens I missed? Any input would be great.

EOS Bodies / Sports photography
« on: February 03, 2011, 02:54:40 PM »
Some input would help. I want to get into sports photography for a living or give it a try. I own a 5D markII and a 60D with various lenses, I'm looking at buying a 1D markIV. Should I do it now or be patient and wait to see what come out in the near future??? I'm assuming 1D markIV is the one to go with. Anyone one out there have a 1D mark IV and ideas. Would be great to hear from you. Thanks first time poster
