EOS Bodies - For Stills / Dual Card-Slot Workflow?

The 5Diii is my first camera with dual card slots, and I'm trying to figure out my work flow.  Here's my thought process:

I'll record jpegs on one card and RAW on another for my "everyday shooting."  That way I can upload my jpegs into Lightroom 4 and keep my snapshots with minimal storage usage, and then pull out the few that I'd want to really process and potentially enlarge, and then grab those RAW files.

Questions: If this workflow makes sense, do you recommend CF vs SD for RAW (and how about for video, SD or CF?)?  Does Lightroom 4 have a way to convert the original RAW files to jpeg rather than just exporting and making duplicates so that I could only shoot RAW and then just easily convert my snapshots to jpeg for storage purposes?

(CF - SanDisk Extreme, 16GBs, 60MB/s  ////  SD - Trascend 32GB, class 10)

Does this even make sense?

Lenses / 70-200: 2.8L vs 4L IS?

Refurbished, the 70-200 2.8L costs almost exactly the same as the 70-200 4L IS.  I currently have the 70-200 on a 550D body, and am expecting to go FF and am interested in upgrading this lens to improve IQ.  Don't have the extra grand to get the 2.8L IS.  Any opinions on IQ, build quality, handling, etc.?

Software & Accessories / Best site for renting underwater housing?

Heyo,

Headed to Belize this summer and am considering renting some underwater housing for my camera.  Model of body is inconsequential as I may be upgrading or renting a body, I'm just looking for price.

Anyone had any luck with this in the past?

Lenses / When does Canon restock Refurb Direct Store?

It's in the title, but I'm just wondering if any of you wonderful people know what kind of schedule Canon is on when they update their refurbished section of the Direct Store?  And, is it possible to set up your account so that you are emailed/notified if a certain item comes in?  I have a "Wish List" set up but I couldn't find any way to have it contact me...
