EOS Bodies / Does Autoclean on the 5D2 do anything?

It doesn't seem like AutoClean does anything on my 5D2. Maybe I just don't know what to look for, but from the dust I do notice, it doesn't seem like AutoClean has the slightest effect on it.

Anyone have any insight?

Software & Accessories / GorillaPods and other Small Tripods

I'm interested in a small tripod for travelling that is light and can fit in my camera bag. It has to hold up a 5D2 with about 1 pound of lens. I think that's going to be a GorillaPod, but there's lots of experience on this board, so maybe someone has a better idea, or anything else worth sharing?

United States / Obnoxious Focus Problem -- Help me!

Hi

Here's the best way to summarize this situation:
When shooting events, I usually use two bodies, a 5D MkII and a Rebel T3, and two lenses, a 24L MkII and a 135L. I swap the lenses back and forth between the bodies as needed.

The 135L consistently focuses correctly on both bodies.
The 24L only consistently focuses correctly on the 5D MkII; on the T3, it usually ends of focusing too close, by as much as a foot or two.

This issue comes into play most when in poor lighting (even using the flash), but it seems to happen at all subject distances.

I'm pretty sure something needs to be calibrated by Canon (everything's under warranty), but I'm not sure what. Any help?

I live near San Francisco, but sometimes I pretend to be a tourist. These are all from the same day, a couple weeks ago. I didn't get as early a start as I wanted, but, hey, I live close, I can go again.
