EOS Bodies - For Stills / Do you need a really high ISO?
« on: September 10, 2014, 02:53:50 PM »
Since the rumors of the 100 - 12 800 (native) ISO in 7D m2 I wonder why they don't pay enough attention?

I begin asking myself: Am I the only one that looks for an affordable body for low-light shooting?
I know Lenses should be faster. But lense is not everything. I say 3/4 the glass needs another quarter push from the body.

So if you remember: the fireflies perhaps about exactly a year ago there was this small discussion. And now have the things  changed?
Aside from my unchanged disappointment I ask you about it.

That way I might be able to reset my expectations...

EOS Bodies / World Cup HD stills for test bodies?
« on: June 12, 2014, 05:12:08 PM »
Hi everyone,

is there anyone recording the World Cup in HD? I am seeing tons of players' closeups. There are many Canon bodies (hard to miss with the white lenses and logo).

I bet at least one of those bodies are the next 1Dx. For 5/7Ds it would be hard to see, but who knows...  ::)

Most probable and IMO well expected move from Canon is to move out of cheap (under $200) cameras due to the ever increasing market share of the phone cameras.

According to digicame-info.com Fujifilm,Olympus, Panasonic, Casio are also considering that.

As a trend below is an estimate of DSLR and DSC market shrinking with huge 15% in just 5 years:

Hi everyone...

I wonder what would be the impact of this camera over the market segmentation:
Samsung's dual grip WB2200F Smart camera boasts 60x optical zoom

Here are some additional details.

These three specs details IMO are a small nightmare.... If these were better it could have been a game-changer.

* - ISO: 80 - 6400
* - Screen dots: 460,000
