What's your third issue?So I updated mine and I'm not too sure about the Illumination. They didn't mention that it would flash and flicker. This is particularly annoying because the lcd overlay means the whole VF tints red slightly including the AF in lower right and the grid if you have that on.

Yep. I'm in the same boat. I'll keep it enabled for a bit, but I may just turn it off.
In the end they only fixed one of my two reported issues (beyond AF point highlights and F8 autofocus.)
When's the next update coming?
One word for the 6D?+1, that is the best way to describe this incremental model.

Looks like the formatting of CRguy's post is still a work in progress, but... is that 5D2 AF? Again? Even the Rebels get better AF these days...No, it is some new 11 point system. I don't know why they didn't use a more expansive system, or even rehashed one of the older 1D series 45pt system. Only one cross-type point is pretty much unacceptable.
Fortunately, all of my lenses are good copies, so I won't send mine back (also from BH shipped the same day as Neuro's) until I get a lens that needs it--and my next lens purchase will be a tilt-shift, so I've got a while.I received mine from B&H over a week ago.
But now, Canon wants it back (sent to Service) because of the AFMA bug...
As with me--I use a lexar FW800 CF reader or an internal USB 2.0 reader on my computer--I have USB 3.0; I just haven't cared enough to use it.So, for those lucky few (specifically thinking of Neuro, et. al.) who have received their cameras and been playing with them for the last week or so, can you weigh in on whether you have been able to make use of the Ethernet transfer capabilities and any hiccups associated therewith?
Sorry, haven't tried. I use a SanDisk FW800 reader, and transferring 200 images from my 1D X (which I literally just did) took 2 minutes - plenty fast enough for me.
46mm?He's either being sarcastic or got the wrong number--the digital picture has the current 800 at 46.1 inches long.
According to B&H that's almost exactly (45.97mm) he length of the current 800mm f5.6. Am I missing something?

yup, its because its a new order, they dont get processed that fast. But you can see the expected delivery date in the email that BH sent you.
March 14th, 6 PM Eastern. Was told my order should ship end of this week or early next week.I'm in the same boat--albeit ordered a little before, but you wouldn't tell it by the order number.
