Great job, guys. Canon gets the best technical minds. I hope it is 15-stop DR, 4K RAW video and 10 fps shooting for 5D3. Nikon fanboys will be committing suicide. What will be their excuse?

A 5dII/5dIII/1DX/1-D C in the hands of a competent film maker can produce a lot more compelling footage than a digital arri or a RED scarlet in the hands of an unimaginative person whose only qualifications are 100 grand spent on film school.
(since Canon is that leader).
shoot raw and forget about exposure because
Nikon D800 can let you underexpose as much as 5 stops and rescue that in raw
I read that the 1DX has the 100000 RGB Metering while the 5D3 reuse the 63 dual layers from the 7D.
I wonder if anyone has more info on this.
1) How does it affect image quality or
2) Does it just affect the exposure metering?
Sorry for the newbie question, but shooting at full sized RAW (20M 5472x3648) on my 6D can take up quite a bit of room on my computer's external HDD. M-RAW is bumped down to 11M, and S-RAW drops all the way to 5.0M. My photos are never printed, unless someone prints them for themselves. I deliver all my photos digitally, in full resolution of course. That being said, if S-RAW has a resolution of 2736x1824, which is quite a bit larger than an HD resolution of 1920x1080, does it really matter if I shoot at 5M? I barely ever crop over over the 16x9 aspect ratio, so I assume it should be fine? Anyways, I came here to get some valid answers from more experienced shooters. Thanks in advance!
