A written and signed contract would be highly advisable.

Doesn't have to be anything fancy, but simply highlight your experience and bride's expectations.

You can even download sample copies of wedding photography contracts from the web.

Give them a copy and keep one for yourself.

It will help keep things from getting nasty should something go wrong and/or the wedding party simply not liking the photos. But trying to put you down, but any type of wedding shoot has all the possibilities to be very stressful and mistakes can be easily made.

Best of luck!

Hope these photos are not off track!

It was my first attempt at using a vari-ND filter.

Let me know what you guys think.

A slightly different take...

Will the 135 f/2 IS not be a L lens?

Pricewatch Deals / Rebate Form

Hey guys, I just bought this lens. [EF 24-70 II]

However, I had never bought anything with a mail-in rebate before.

I am trying to figure out if I am doing it right...I bought it from Amazon and the selling price was $1,999. Will Cannon care that this price is lower than what they are selling the lenses for? Will I still get the $300 rebate, bringing the total to $1,699?

And I have to mail the receipt from the sale to Cannon too, and not just the upc cutout, right?

Thank you.

Site Information / Mobile site on desktop?

Keep getting the mobile CR site on my desktop!

Doesn't work when I click on the 'desktop' button on the bottom of the page...

But who knows, my desktop might as well be the most un-mobile-mobile device in the world...

Wow! Love these photos. I wish my photos looked this good.

Will you please talk a little about your post-production work flow?

Love the look and feel of these photos.

Thank you.

Wait! Where will this rank in the 5D line up? I just spent $2,200 on a 5D2, money I don't really have. If this newer but 'cheaper' FF camera out does the 5D2, I think I will cry and then die a little bit inside!!!

Really hope that is not the case.

Anyone care to shed some light on this? Please and thank you.

I'd like to see info on the Tamron's vignetting. In the few lenses I've compared over the years, Tamron lenses had much greater vignetting than Canon's, especially at wide open apertures.

Look up That Nikon Guy on Youtube. He has about 5-6 videos with the new Tamron. He is using a Canon mount on a 5D2. From what I have seen, the Tammy looks pretty good.

I will be happy if the Tammy truly falls between the Canon Mk I and II in real world uses( for me, those are weddings). Hopefully it will hold up to some degree of abuse even though I am pretty careful with the very little gear that I have :(

Man, this is starting to look better and better! I was going to wait a couple years(hopefully won't take that long) to get the new EF 24-70 mk II, but for way less money, this might just sway me. I am a budding wedding photographer, and am thinking about getting a 24-70 for the sake of versatility. My current setup is all primes and any zoom I get will have to be close in terms of IQ.

Waiting to see how this will compare to the ef 24-70 II...
