It should be fixed now.  It was me.

The boss has already let me know!!

Send me a private e-mail if its still not working.

Looks like it's working again, thanks. (I hate using proxies.)

Site Information / Moderators: Accidental ban of whole subnet
« on: March 23, 2013, 03:33:10 AM »
Hi moderators,

I think you accidentally banned a whole subnet (93.218.* or similar) from your forums.
No login (and even guest access) is possible from my DSL: I'm banned. (With different IPs falling in the mentioned subnet.)
From phone with login and totally different IP: not banned. (As you see by reading my post.)

I didn't even post since January and I'm always polite ;)
It looks like some punk with a dynamic IP was insulting but sadly now I (and many others) get IPs from the subnet he was in.

Thanks for looking into it!

Edit: Using my provider's proxy (and thus getting a different IP) for access from my DSL line also works. So it is definitely a ban of some IPs.

Is that the hood at the bottom right?... Does it come as part of the kit or do you buy it separately for £50???  :P

You're one funny guy: the hood is £149.

I can recommend

Does this mean you had a loss/damage and they paid without a problem?

One thing that looks out of place is the "2013" in the middle. The yellow is too bright and the shadow looks out of place.
Why not remove the shadow and italics and make the "2013" the same color as the months' names?

Lensbaby Composer Pro with the Edge 80 optic does a great job on FF.

I am fairly certain 2nd curtain Sync will not be available in wireless mode.

In wireless mode the menu option for 2nd curtain sync changes to high speed sync.

The +8 bug happened with the latest firmware and I think I was in Tv mode.

I've had something similar happen to me. My 5D3 suddenly applied +8 AFMA to my 24-105 and forgot its serial number (had definitely entered it correct before).
Luckily I've realized this after one or two shots and switched everything back to normal. The settings for other lenses weren't affected and I have no idea what caused this problem.

Something about a driver from Canon being released in October I think. I swapped to Lion from snow leopard, but it never worked with my hardware so I'm still running SL.

Thanks, now I've found the info myself (of course after asking).

At present, the Canon interface files don’t work on Mountain Lion (OS X 10.8), so you need Lion (10.7) to run FoCal.  The Canon website indicates that they will support Mountain Lion in early October, and we think that there won’t be any change needed to FoCal in order to run.

Good thing I didn't have the time for updating to ML yet.

The beta doesn't run on Mountain Lion?

TS-E 14-105mm f/1.4L IS USM

I'd love to see how large something like this would be.

SanDisk Extreme Pro in both slots. 32GB CF gets RAW+JPG. 64GB SD gets RAW only as a backup...

How is it possible to record RAW to one and RAW+JPG to the other card? I can only set my 5D3 to write RAW+JPG to both cards or RAW to one and JPG to the other.
