I just bought my mom a sony NEX-3N
a smaller camera with flip screen and BETTER ISO performance. and a smaller lens with servo zoom.

only thing that might be better about this is if you need the small viewfinder and  a bigger grip and bigger lens selection.

if you want bigger grip NEX-3F is just almost as good. at a much cheaper price. still smaller with a flip screen and better ISO performance and faster frame rate at 5.5FPS

BUT its $300 more than NEX3n.... which you can put toward to a 35 f1.8 lens or a 50F 1.8
think more before you buy

CANON used to be the leader in ISO performance.... but it ended with t3i when canon started doing movie cameras ...

just get a used t2i or t3i. u will get a slight iso lowlight and resolution improvement plus video mode
if u dont do video. just get better lens or a good used 5d mk1


7D does not give u better image quality than 60D
60D does not give u better image quality than t2i

some of the cheaper 5d3 on ebay have the serial numbers that are affected by the light leaking issue

perhaps bh was trying to sell all the affected units at lower price?
or because most professional have already bought it for this wedding season so the sale was bad hance the quick sale for ones that wanted buy it but ... damn... dont want to pay that much

5d3 over priced? and who doesnt want it to be cheaper? most wedding and event photographers would rather have better lowlight ability than higher resolution.
the ability to use 12800iso confidently in a professional situation really really open up new possibilities!
