It's actually my dad's camera.  I use a set of 5D3's for work so It doesn't really affect me as much.  Maybe I'll try reaching out to the magic lantern folks.  thanks for the reply!  Aloha!

50 1.8! can't go wrong with the thrify-fifty.

i used the 50 1.8 for a couple of years when i started my career.  great lens...until i got it killed...

I've been using a 300 2.8 + 2x III extender on a 5D Mark III.  It's not the sharpest thing ever, but it gets the job done and it's nowhere as terribad as the ver2.

I think 'factory menu' is what the repair techs use to assist in checking the body.

Just got my 7D back from CPS.

slapped a battery in and the camera came up with this strange menu item at the bottom...



and when i check the firmware....


Firmware Ver. 7.7.7 8A.7C.4D?!?!?!
