EOS Bodies - For Stills / Camera focusing
« on: January 16, 2014, 02:44:33 AM »
I am currently using a 5d mark iii and I love it.  I have AFMA all of my lenses.  I use mostly the 24-70 2.8ii and the 70-200 2.8i and every once in a while the 85 1.2 ii.  My issue is that when post processing my pictures the ones shot in landscape orientation look considerably better and are in focus better than the ones shot in portrait orientation.  Is there something that could be causing this in the camera or is this most likely operator error?  It wouldn't be a big deal if it was only occassionally but looking back at my past shoots the best pictures are always taken in landscape orientation.  Thanks for all replies and insights.

Thanks Neuro.  That is what is was.  I don't know how it got set to that, must have been bumped before it was turned off last time I used it.  Thanks again.

Do you remember what page Alrik.  I just read through the manual and didn't see anything like I am talking about.  I checked the troubleshooting tips also and didn't see anything either.

Lighting / 430 EX II FLASH
« on: October 14, 2012, 09:52:19 AM »
When my 430ex ii flash is on the camera it works great.  When it is not connected it will not fire a flash.  When I hit the test flash button it makes a loud noise and light comes out but it's not in a flash like its supposed to be.  Plus when I use it off camera with pocket wizards it wont flash either.  Anyone have any ideas.
